A profound, structured and complex Aglianico with aging potential – perfect for thoughtful sipping and special pairings.
Martummè is a 100% Aglianico from southeast-facing vineyards at 300–350 m altitude, rooted in limestone-clay soils with excellent drainage. The must ferments naturally with native yeasts for approx. 40 days before gentle pressing.
Aged for 12 months in second-use French barriques and tonneaux, then refined for at least 12 more months in bottle at the winery to reach maximum depth and harmony.
In the glass: intense ruby red. On the nose: blackcurrant, licorice, black pepper, leather and dark chocolate. On the palate: full-bodied, elegant, long and layered – a contemplative wine with structure and soul.
