A characterful 100% Aglianico. Dry, complex and subtly spicy – perfect with game and aged cheese.
This pure Aglianico is grown at 300–350 m altitude with southeast exposure, on soils rich in clay, limestone and sandstone. Traditional, natural winemaking includes 35 days of skin contact and spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts.
Matured for 12 months – 60% in stainless steel, 40% in used barriques – followed by at least 3 months in bottle.
The result is a structured yet elegant wine with notes of dark berries, leather and gentle spice.
